INHOUSE WINNERS
The Clinic American League champs are the Yankees managed by David Icenroad and the Clinic National League champs are the Pirates managed by Justin Lebrun. In their championship series, the Yankees won.
The Minor American League champs are the Orioles managed by George Delss and the Minor National League champs are the Astros managed by Tom Holcomb. In their championship series, the Astros won.
The Major American League champs are the Gray Charles 1 team managed by Emory Newberger and the Major National League champs are the Nationals managed by Mark Hauf. In their championship series, the Gray Charles 1 team won.
The Pony American League champs are the Orioles managed by Ken Jackson and the Pony National League Champs are the Gray Charles team managed by Steve Pugliano. In their championship series, the Orioles won.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TWO ESSEX PLAYERS
Congratulations to Molly Shomper (softball) for advancing in the Aqua Fina contest to play at Camden Yards! And she won first place on June 12th in the Aqua Fina contest at Camden Yards in the 9-10 Softball category. Great job Molly!
Congratulations to Ryan Rivers who has been drafted into the MLB by the Anaheim Angels. Ryan has been playing College for the Charlotte Forty-Niners and finished the 2010 season with team highs of 13 home runs, 16 doubles and 63 RBI's, as well as a .630 slugging percentage. He was one of four players on the team to record multiple home run day, and did it twice in the season. He finishes 8th on the all-time home run list with the Niners with 31. Ryan is an Essex boy who started out playing in our Essex program and played from age 5 to 19. He was managed by Brian Brown for most of his Essex years. All of you know Tyler, our umpire in chief. Ryan is Tyler's older brother. Way to go Ryan! We are proud of you!!
TRAVEL
Congratulations to our 11-12 Essex Express travel team managed by Troy Bowings. They came in 2nd in the BCML Travel Championship. Good job guys!
Congratulations to our 9-10 Essex Express travel team managed by Brian Schilpp. They won the Rosedale Tournament 13-8 over Arbutus. Good job guys!
Congratulations to our 7-8 Essex Express travel team managed by Justin Lebrun. They finished 2nd in the Essex Tournament and 2nd in the Fallston tournament. Good job guys!
